The Outfit

Also called the Combine, the Outfit is the organized criminal underbelly of TunFaire. They have fingers in every pie, and tentacles that reach high up on the Hill, possibly to the top. At the start of the series, the Kingpin of the Outfit is Kolchak, but he is replaced before Bitter Gold Hearts by Chodo Contague. Chodo reigns until the end of Dread Brass Shadows, when he falls ill and is replaced (unbeknownst to the rest of the Outfit) by his daughter Belinda.
