Temple of Travelers Repose

The Temple of Traveler's Repose is a lightly fortified monastery sprawled atop a low hill a few hundred miles south of Beryl. It is at least two thousand years old. It offers shelter for the stories travelers tell, and Croaker is delighted to find that the Temple has copies of some of the Black Company's early Annals.

The Temple is one of the very very few islands of truly good and altruistic magic around. Sadly, although it puts up a good fight, it is largely destroyed when the Limper comes rampaging south in search of Lady. At least a dozen of the monks do survive, so perhaps the Temple is rebuilt after Limper's departure, but we never learn more about its fate.
