Suyen Dinh Duc

A Nyueng Bao, self-appointed bodyguard to Big Bucket. He dies on the Glittering Plain, trying to escape after Soulcatcher traps the leaders of the Company. Bucket prepares Duc's body in a traditional Nyueng Bao way before continuing his flight to the Shadowgate. Since Bucket was not next to him, Sleepy surmises that he must have been killed by a boobytrap laid by Soulcatcher. He was so highly regarded that it is thought he probably spotted the trap himself as Bucket triggered it and got in the way, saving him. Sleepy describes him as one of the quietest and most unobtrusive of the Nyueng Bao.
