Murgen

Murgen is the Black Company's standard bearer, and becomes an Annalist in training during the Company's time in the South. Murgen becomes captain of the Company in Croaker's absence, during which time he falls in love with Sahra and her Nyueng Bao family. Tobo is the son of Murgen and Sahra.
Murgen was most known for his ability to ghost walk, viewing distant locales (and even times) without ever leaving his bed.
Murgen dies in an ambush organised by Mogaba, an event which sends his son Tobo into a destructive rage that serves to aid The Black Company in their battle against Soulcatcher at Taglios.
