Kayean's brother and Syndic Klaus' son, Full Harbor resident Kayeth Kronk went into the cavalry. Stationed at Fort Caprice, two years before the events in Sweet Silver Blues he was brevetted a Major and decorated, for his actions during the Karentine victory at Latigo Wells.
