This site does not gather information about its users, unless provided by the user themselves on the user's page, except as used for statistical purposes - and none of that is personally identifiable. The cookies set by the site, when allowed, are used only to remember a visitor's settings during the visitor's session, or, if the user desires, between sessions. The data stored in the cookies consists of the chosen User Name, a unique User ID (associated with the user name), and the session ID. In short, it makes the site run more consistently between sessions, but does not store personally identifiable information.

In addition, any information entered during the registration (other than the user-selected alias "Username"), including email address (if given - one is not required), are never shared with any third party. The only person who can see the email address entered is myself, and I do not give out email addresses without prior consent. Ever.
