Geek

The Geek (aka Claw-of-the-Lion) is a warrior of the K'Hlata tribe who signs on as a guide for the Company south of D'Loc-Aloc. He is a tall black man in excellent condition; his original equipment includes a striped hide shield and a sheaf of broad-bladed spears. When he first meets the Company, he and his brother the Freak are very rude and condescending to their guides. However, after a fight, the Geek and the Freak (names picked by One-Eye) behave much better, and then they ask to join the Company when they reach the end of the lands they are familiar with.
