Chodo's House
From Glen Cook Wiki
A huge mansion in the suburbs, the place belonging to Chodo Contague is located in the suburbs outside of TunFaire. A high wall surrounds the place, which has an enchanted path leading to the front door. Velociraptors roam the grounds, being constrained only be the enchantments on the path; it is said the kingpin has survived assassination attempts he was never aware of because the assassins were devoured before they could get to him. The kingpin also has amulets which carry the same enchantment.
The house itself is big as well. One room on the ground floor contains a heated swimming pool three times as large as the ground floor of Garrett's House. Another room on the first floor is a dungeon, with an extensive collection of torture paraphernalia.
