Child's Landing
From Glen Cook Wiki
One of the riverside districts of TunFaire. The Landing lies adjacent to the river north of the Bight. North of Child's Landing lies the Embankment.
Tales tell that the Landing was the first place humans settled when they arrived in the area, building a fortress for defense here. Later, a village grew up around the fort because of easy access to three major trade-carrying rivers. Later still, more fortifications and a growth of industry during the Face Wars caused the city to grow to become the sprawl that is TunFaire.
Dwarf Fort sits on four square blocks behind the levee in Child’s Landing.
