Brookside

A wooded creekside area at the base of the Hill, this area has become a traditional neutral ground for TunFaire's criminal element.

The procedure goes something like this: one party proposes a "brookside" meeting at a fixed time and defining the size of the parties involved; the other party is then permitted to choose one end of the area as his starting ground, and to come early and scout the terrain for signs of treachery.

It was at Brookside that Kolchak met his end at Valentine Permanos' vampiric hands at the end of the events in Sweet Silver Blues.
