Baladitya

Copyist in the library at Taglios, assistant to Master Santaraksita. He's a dottering old man, half-blind and deaf. The Black Company kidnaps him to help translate the older Annals, and he remains with them, eventually ending up in the Fortress of the Glittering Plain. He spends several joyful years transcribing histories from Shivetya before passing away at his desk.
